Attention, edgers, gilders, and blingers: what are your tools of choice?

Just some random info for those looking to write on their cards. I got an old deck of poker cards to write "52 reasons I love you" for my husband on our anniversary. I discovered that the regular Sharpie ink wouldn't stay on the plasticky coating. But Sharpie does have oil-based paint pens , and they worked perfectly! (The oil base is the key).

My Avery Marks-A-Lot black permanent markers will probably arrive here this week (from New York! Lol); well, it's probably a bit stupid because I think there are good permanent markers in France, but it seems the
Avery Marks-A-Lot aren't available (and the same for Sharpie markers)!
The good news is that the shipping is for free! :)
