I think it depends on the person asking the question, and what the question is.

If it's someone who's every insecure about some aspect of their life, and they're asking the same question over and over and over again, knowing the answer in the first place but refusing to accept it, or someone who's decided that they've fallen in love with someone who's totally unrealistic and unobtainable and keep asking if that person is going to love them back, for example, then yes, I think it's unhealthy.

I agree. That's why I phrased it as a question, since it's something that depends on what the readings are about and why they're doing it.
