For me, my thoth deck is one of my 4 elemental magical weapons - pentacle .
You can make a pentacle out of anything and design it anyway you want ; but it should represent the universe and your relationship in it ... some do a pentagram in a circle ... for me Thoth fits ... it is a compendium and a visual mode of SOOOO much teaching , systems and interactions. Also as I was an OTO initiate, it was greatly helpful as Crowley codified many of the orders teaching within its symbolism ,... it is stacked with 'life's lessons'
Also we used the deck as a tool for a variety of workshops , some on tarot itself, but many using it as a subsidiary tool. And more ....
So it is like a 'little' spiritual / psychological handbook for me . And much of its teaching can be applied to life for fun and success (also it can chop potatoes into 17 different shapes and is easy to clean
