I like the way John Mangiapane thinks. He is absolutely correct in saying that virtually nearly every book on Tarot is written for women, and he approaches Tarot from a man's perspective. I have read, lectured, and taught Tarot since 1984 or 1985 and I've seen most of the books and a great many decks...this is a breath of very fresh air and in my current Major Arcana class, I've quoted him on every M.A. card for comparative purposes. Wish I could sit down and discuss Tarot with him! Oh, I may quibble over a few finer points but the main thing is the different perspective he brings to the table. Get it. You'll have a better understanding of some of the cards.
