Looking for a tarot & numerology book

Reverie

I'm looking for a good tarot book that incorporates numerology/numbers.

I'd like to look more into that.

Can you recommend any good ones?

Thanks!

HOLMES

hmm

Tarot Constellations: Patterns of Personal Destiny
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ISBN=087877128X/ref=nosim/aeclectic/

out of print a good book that looks at the numbers by adding and forming a pattern that works with the tarot :)
can look at ebay or try a trade in the trade exchange for it.

Numerology: Key to the Tarot
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ISBN=0914918451/ref=nosim/aeclectic/
it is more on the numerology aspect.
the number aspect of the tarot at the beginning looks at for example emperor, and then then the key word attinment in the four of each suit.
you do a numerical analysis and then a tarot reading based on that spread of the numerical anaylsis.
to give an example
first you do a numerical analysis of the name,
then do a spread with the first name as the past
and last name as present and future in one chapter
then in another chapter you use again a differnt spread called the triangle of destiny.
I like this book especially due to the look at sherlock holmes, the address he lived on, and other things.

Numerology and the Divine Triangle
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ISBN=0914918109/ref=nosim/aeclectic/

the first half of the book is on numerology,, then numerology as applied to the tarot
after 22 , it starts at the wands with 23 aka five being the king of wands,
it is a system i didn't like though . (mostly because i didnt' understand why she started the wands, it could because golden dawn says it comes first,
the system does work though as with the court cards first the minor cards do add up to their root number , 29=11 =2 , for two in the two of wands,
if you get the book you will see what i mean).

I would second Numerology: Key to the Tarot.

Thank you both! I will have to check out Numerology: Key to the Tarot
since you're both recommending it!

Is anyone working with this book still? I have it yet can't make myself to go through it for some reason... Is it worth it?

Here's another possibility that I know nothing about, but the description looks promising:

Numbers: Their Occult Power and Mystic Virtues, by W. Wynn Westcott

As with some other books by Westcott, though, it's quite possible there is a certain Victorian "starchiness" to it. Others might know.

Thank you, Barleywine!
I am just venting that i feel guilty for having this book and not being capable of reaiding it - and you share more interesting links that will make me feel even more guilty! Just what i needed! })

(Not to mention that i overpaid it - like five times of what's sold at amazon, because i paid the courrier and the taxes and the customs - books are not tax exempt over here

For me it was always a case of "too many books, not enough time." Now it's more like "too many books, not enough dime(s)" so I'm starting to catch up on the old ones and buying far fewer new ones.

Lol, that too! ;) I've discovered couple of good books at home that i haven't read (that one on Numerology included) - and i have couple of e-books that do deserve to be read... ugh.

just wanted to say that the librarian in me cringes when someone post titles and no authors :p

Anyway, Mary. K. Greer is coming out with an updated version of Tarot constellations soon:

might be worth getting that one:-D
