Best case: You'll feel like you've got a little piece of home with you whilst you're there somehow. You'll feel at home and relaxed. It'll be quiet, you can rest & you'll get time and space to think. No one will bother you when you want to be alone.
Worst case: The mattress will be lumpy and the pillow will feel like a rock. You'll wonder why you spent your money on it. Service will be non-existent. You'll be left to look after yourself. Place is in the middle of no where
Best/Worst case for P learning to surf with D this summer?

Oh, I hate most mattresses and pillows if I haven't been given an adjustment period to them. I ended up giving my ohso expensive and super comfy mattress to two of my pets, so it took me a loooong time to adjust to the new bed and pillows in my current home. So wherever I sleep I will always have an issue with the mattresses and pillows. Always wanted a waterbed though. But I think my cat has ruined that dream of ever happening, so....

Oh, and there won't be any service and it will kind of be in the middle of nowhere, which is awesome. I'm glad I'll be left alone. I like my privacy.
Page of Coins (again !)
Best: P will be a natural and really do well with it. She is a quick learner and will be more than willing to ask questions and try things out.
Worst: P may be more focused on the "facts" rather than trying it out, so the best thing to do would be to prep her "academically" beforehand, so once she's actually in the water she can do hands-on things. Maybe practice standing/sitting/rocking on the board every day on the floor in the house or something so she can get a feel for it and it will prep her better.
BC/WC scenario for proceeding onto "step 2" ? (Sorry for the vagueness.... it involves a project of sorts. Not sure if I'm ready for stage 2 or not yet.)
