Star in the West

Grigori

Does anyone know how much an original copy of Fuller's Star in the West would go for? Or where a person could go to get an idea of prices for first editions of Crowley related material?

I saw a copy for sale recently, and wondered how prices compared for similar items.

Thanks!

Lillie

Appears there were two first editions.

One was a limited edition of 100 copies, signed by both Fuller and Crowley, the other was the first normal (unsigned) edition.

There are two of the numbered ones on abe.
One in america for £1220
One here for £3400
Those are pounds, by the way. Double it for dollars.

For the first unsigned edition.
A couple of hundred quid from the look of it.

For the fourth edition (still 1907, by the way) 40 to about 70.

That's all according to abe, not me.

Is the one you have seen signed by Mr C?

Ah thanks Lillie! No unsigned, and in rather poor condition. Priced at $250AUD, (bout 110 GBP). Maybe it wasn't a first edition then, or just cheaper for the shoddy condition. I'll have to stop by again and look in more details. :)
