I have lavender in small pillow/pouch and cards in another pouch, and everything in one very big bag. Lavender pouch only touches pouches and not cards directly.

I keep a citrine crystal in my bag with my cards. It is one of two crystals that don't need cleansing. Most crystals need sunlight or moonlight or a saltwater bath to cleanse them every once in a while but not citrine. It helps absorb any negative energy or simply any residual energy from your last reading.
Once in a while citrine will have to be either cleansed or sound cleansing to get the ossilary pulse regulated. All crystals. Not all the time, but from time to time with the ones they say- don't have to be cleansed. The Ossiary pulse gets off wack once in a while.
