Note: Text of poem removed from view at request of author.
Marge Tindal feels that Aeclectic Tarot "doesn't represent the
atmosphere where I'd care to have my poetry showcased."

She did however send me two additional links to her work:
"My Native American Indian Heritage Poetry"

http://www.wcnet.org/~bro13256/marge2.html

My apologies,
Fulgour ~ and let the festivities continue!

I am sorry Marg Tindal felt that. Some of her other works do seem to be about the search of and for spirit. They're beautiful pieces.

My further dilemma in removing the text of her poem
was in not rightly being able to post her letter to me,
as that'd be another instance of "permission" needed.

But she did also say, in part, that she felt honored and
did not wish to seem "judgemental of the site" either.
Just that part about the atmosphere for showcasing...

I think I can safely quote her as saying: Just let my
response fall into the category of different strokes for
different folks~

Best to you and your friends~

I guess VIII Swords is a good metaphor for not knowing where to turn about copyright. Thanks for the link!

Actually, I was not so much interested in the copyright laws per se but the reasons why Marg Tindal would not want to showcase her work at Aeclectic. She may well have the right to say yea or nay but I was more interested in why it mattered to her.

However, it is ultimately not too important. I guess she has a right to say nay and I accept that. Her poetry is quite beautiful and I'm pleased to discover another wonderful contemporary American poet.

In the Swords suit, see also II Swords, IV Swords,
X Swords for Masonic connections.
This would be a much more interesting "theory" if there was any,
~any~ possible use for such a creation...what good would it be?

Is there some/any need in the Masonic community for illustrations
of their rituals ~ and if so, how possibly could Tarot serve them?

The single greatest Tarot created in all of human history stands as
an example of itself ~ it is a pure expression of one person's ideas:
Pamela Colman Smith. If any of the fun stuff associated with such
goings on as secret orders or societies served her imagination, fine.
But woe to the Masons if they can't hold a meeting without Tarots.
