Nine of Cups - a poetic take (Margarete Petersen)

Little Baron

In the '8 of Cups', I plunged to the depths of the sea. I met obstacles in the shape of it's darkness and shadows. It was a card that depended on me meeting a challenge. But what was the reward?

The 'Nine of Cups'.

Out of darkness, appears light. The trophy. A small grain of peace in troubled waters.

What could signify hope more than this? What could be more beautiful? Something so natural.

It is like a fruit within a begging bowl for the poor. A droplet of water for the thirsty.

Amongst hardship, it is a promise or a flicker of faith.

A wish.
