In the following three different decks, published by Lo Scarabeo: a common image: a dog, although different breeds of dogs depending on the deck. Note the shades of meaning that seem almost a common 'theme'--perhaps a fluke?

I've noticed certain themes such as a house or a dog is usually beneficial, kindly in terms of meaning and symbolism. But the image of the cat doesn't fare so well in the Sibilla...have to look at other cartomancy images.
It may be a publishing or similar cartomancy tradition, but I thought I'd mention this. Perhaps a general cartomancy dictionary already comments on this? Have others noticed small similarities in certain oracle themes?
