Mystical Cats Tarot - Sun XIX

Onaorkal

We can see five cats sunbathing on a veranda, with three lying on the ground and two located on the railing. They are all of different colors and I cannot identify any breed in particular. In clockwise fashion, from top left : an orange tabby, a black and white, a calico, another orange tabby and a grey cat.
The ground seems to be made of yellow marble and has a large yellow and orange Sun drawn in the middle. Right behind, we can see a gold statue of the Goddess Sekhmet standing on a red pedestal. Behind the statue we can see the beige railing delimiting the area until it comes to an end where a yellow marble wall starts. We can see a rounded doorless entrance, with another yellow, orange and white Sun drawing right above it and a roof made of red tiles covering this shelter.
In the background, we can see a lot of greenery, some tall trees and a few mountains. Also, there is a very high and bright Sun in the middle of a blue sky, along with some white clouds.

Colors : Warm tones of yellow, beige, gold and orange.

This card is about the easy moments of life, when you are able to fully rest and take pleasure in the present moment. ''You can relax and trust that all is well, and all will continue to be well.'' The message might not be as deep as with some other cards, but it's very clear and positive!

Symbolism :

Sun (drawings and actual Sun) : Symbolizes life, hope and happiness.

Warm colors (red, orange, yellow) : Related to excitement, bursting emotions, positive or negative. Here they are used to enhance the optimism of the Sun card. Yellow and gold are also associated with wealth.

Sekhmet statue : Solar goddess of the Egyptian mythology, often represented as a woman with a lioness head. On her head we can see the typical solar disk found in/on many Ancient Egyptian artifacts. The red and blue of her ornaments and the green of her eyes are reminiscent of the Priest card, where the same colors were used. The carnelian (red), lapis lazuli (blue) and green (turquoise) stones were used a lot as good luck charms and represented life.

Railing : Sense of security, protection from danger (falling) and from the unknown (wildness depicted in the background).

Shelter : To me, its presence could symbolize 2 different things. It could be to show that the cats are not trapped on this veranda, that they can leave whenever they want. Sunbathing is nice, but only when it's on a volunteer basis. If someone would try to force you to do something ''for your own happiness'', if you're not eager, it's not truly happiness.
The other reason why there is an exit would be to remind us that resting and happy times usually don't last forever. Eventually the Sun will go down and it will be time to go back inside! Enjoy it while it lasts!

Background scenery : We can guess there is a forest and a few mountain peaks. They represent the scary wilderness with its mysteries (forest) and obstacles (mountains), far away and behind the protection of the railing. They exist, but right now, they don't matter.
