Pathfinder's Animal Oracle No 43, the Fox
The card shows the head and chest of a Red Fox. He - -feels like a he - has rather sleepy eyes and also a quite wide head for a Fox -?? Does not look very Fox-like to me...... A veryery proud and dignified animal
Fox for me is the Power of protection for the East - morning and sunrise...The red fur attests to that.
For our People in Siberia, the Uryanchai, Dilgi, the fox is a Guadian of the East and announces all malevolent spirits, that lurk up ahead, yet unseen in our future.
No kamlani (shamanic circle) is set up without a representation of Dilgi.
Native Americans as well see Fox as an animal of the East and often wear Fox fur in their regalia.
The Ojibwa name for Fox is Wagish and he is smart, sly and his Power is camouflage and observing in silence.
He also always has a smile on his face....
