9 of Swords in the Tarot of Dreams

I love this card because of it's gothic look.

For those of you who have seen Stephen King's The Stand, doesn't the girl in the 9 of Swords look like Nadine Cross towards the end of the movie where her hair is turning gray and she's not having such a fun time anymore?

I see what you mean. This card is about nightmares, or visions of disaster. It reminds me of the covers of paperback gothic romance books of the 1970's, where the heroine runs out of a crumbling, ghost-infested house into the night, dressed in a diaphanous negligee.
