We Need a Tarot of Las Vegas

divinerguy

This is a deck that is sorely needed.

Think about the town. Its entire existence is based upon sex, money, bright lights, gambling, bling, shiny cars, prize fights, strippers, tough guys, fast divorces and even faster weddings and just about every shallow characteristic that can be attributed to humanity.

What a magnificent deck for readings of people who claim to be living a fast life.

Anyone up to the challenge?

Would the 2 of Cups involve Elvis and the lil chaple of love????????????

Wheel of Fortune - Roulette wheel?

Chariot - Cherry red Cadillac?

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm could be interesting.

Tower could be your chips all disappearing on that last game of blackjack.

Judgement...

...There is no judgement.

What goes in Las Vegas Stays There!

Not certain how to picture it...

Coming from someone who works in a casino - it's a teriffic and lousy idea! I see a lot more of the 'seedy' side of casinos as an employee than you'll ever know. Maybe instead of suits we could apply a different casino to each one instead?

However, other than being a commentary on Las Vegas (after all, didn't King choose Vegas for destruction in 'The Stand'?) - would it actually be readable other than for someone who is immersed in the gaming milieu?

Still - the images could be very easy to decide on!

That's a really cool idea, love to see it.

For casinos, I'd probably assign Caesar's Palace - the Emperor, Golden Nugget- Fortune, Rio - the Fool, MGM Grand - Strength, the Monaco - the Magician, Luxor - the High Priestess, the Tropicana - the Empress, the Strip - the Devil. The minors suits would be the locals casinos - Sunset Station, Boulder Station, Sam's Town, Fiesta. (From what I've heard, Vegas has the highest church attendance rate in the States, and there's a lot of mormons there.)
