Green Boxes, Card Backs, and Hexagram Styles

Lillie

Oh, I'm often wrong, about lots of things.

I see these small USG decks quite often. I'll grab one one day, and look at the backs.

Yes, it seems there is still 'new old stock' greenies floating around.

I'm not that surprised.
Mine seems to date from around 2000, so that's not too long ago for some to be still hanging around.

Thanks, I've been able to identify which deck I have now.

I've been wondering for a while. It's:

Date of deck: 1996
Publisher: U.S. Games Systems, Inc.
Printed in: Belgium
Box design: Lavendar
Card Size: 110 x 70 mm
Fronts: Gray border with design, astrological symbols and Hebrew letters on bottom of trumps
Backs: White borders
Extra cards: 2 extra Magus cards
LWB, contents : 46 pages, by James Wasserman, plus two essays by Lady Frieda Harris with commentary and footnotes by Stuart R. Kaplan
ISBN: 0-88079-308-2 Box & LWB

Although I don't have the box anymore, this deck's a keeper, I remember it was mauve and I had the three Magus cards...

Happy to hear as I do not have the icky green ones. LOL As I have never seen another Thoth except mine, I wondered if the other versions were more or less "green" than mine is. Glad I got the one I did not, on E-Bay. Someone did not like it, so their loss is my gain.
