La Force - how may it be read?

jmd

...the Dodal, attached, simply names it 'Force', by the way.

Given that she (if it is a 'she') simply and with apparent effortlessness holds open the jaws of the beast that resides between her legs, one may perhaps mention, in a reading, that the inner strength from within is what is already there and to be made available to the situation at hand.

... I'll add a little later on as well.

Madam Mercury

I often imagine the relationship between the Summer Sun,
as depicted by the complacent Lion, and the Harvest time,
with "La Force" being like the companion energy, but now
drawing forth the powers contained in each bounteous bit
of grain, wresting the life essence from the ripened fields.

firemaiden

Taming, disarming viciousness with gentleness, the triumph of love over fear, and all the inner power that is unleashed from that.

Could it also be something like "holding that inner beast in check"?
There is no visible tail or back-end of that lion and there's no telling where the lion is coming from.

Logically she would be straddling the lion to keep it controlled, but the image on the Dodal Force only shows the lion emerging from her skirts.

Moonbow

Both the woman and the lion seem to be under some kind of influence. She opens it's mouth without even looking at what she is doing, almost as though she is in a dream state or 'going into' herself. And, likewise the lion is happy to let her do it, sitting calmly as though it were a pet.

There is self control shown in both of them. In a reading it teaches us to approach situations that we do not necessarily want to be involved with and to deal with them. To 'take the bull by the horns' and tackle problems, or confront difficulties face on and not shy away from them. Sometimes there is just you and the problem, no one else can help, you just 'have' to find the strength from within.

Kime or focus

Bruce Lee spoke of acute mental focus or tightening the mind (kime) as being the means to concentrating one's energy or efforts. "La Force" has always had an internal aspect to it that differentiates it from the outward appearance of mere strength. The maiden that pries open the lion's jaw does so because she is focused upon *one* thing only. The world stands still and does not exist outside of her action and because her focus is pure, there can be little hinderance to the act.

It simply is.

I just wonder what's up under that skirt?
