TotOP - Ace of Swords

Ace of Swords

The suit of Swords in Tarot of the Old Path is attributed to the element of Air and to the season of Fall (I think).

The main feature of this card is a large and ornate sword. It's hilt is formed of two crescent moons and two small full moons. A crown encircles the point of sword, also bearing a crescent moon.

The sword floats in a cloudy sky. Three oak leaves (another nod to the Triple Goddess?) blow in a breeze. Oak leaves represent bravery.

the book doesn't tell what the crown represents...is it the crown of victory?
