Fey - The Wisest (The Hierophant)

"Sitting on time" is the one thing that I automatically think of when I look at this card. Does that mean that there is no need for haste? To be patient? Or since the sands are almost gone, does that indicate that his time is nearly up, in a manner of speaking.

And for the dragon, does that mean he has subdued the dragon, and has managed to tame the dragon, in a manner of speaking? Or is the dragon in fact guarding him? Maybe that indicates if he is interrupted, and his time is encroached on, the man will turn around, and start breathing fire like a dragon would.
