I'm thinking of buying the Gilded tarot deck because it's such a beautiful deck. Are there any books that I should look at buying as well?.

you will find it comes with quite a nice book already.

I would wait until you have seen it before deciding if you need any further books to enhance the deck.

Hope you like it though. I use this deck fairly often, but is not one of my out and out favourites.

Thanks for the advice shadowdancer .

I'll let you know how I go with the book when I get it. I have to wait a few weeks before I can even order it. Being a student really doesn't help the tarot collecting :S.

As Shadowdancer said it comes with a book. It is a pretty basic straight forward book but it does have room for notes etc.
