rider waite meanings with Thoth Deck

I have recently bought Thoth Deck.Can I use the rider waite meanings with Thoth deck or should I buy a separate book on thoth Deck

Of course you can use RW meanings with Thoth if you wish, since they are both loosely based on the Golden Dawn Tarot, but there are a few snags in correlating the Thoth with the Rider-Waite. They are not insurmountable. However, it would be best to get Crowley's The Book of Thoth. It's free on the internet.

You could, and both decks come from the same root, but I feel you would be missing out on a lot of what makes the Thoth special. Not everyone has a taste for esotericism and the occult, and the Book of Thoth can be too complicated if you aren't. There are, however, books that don't go into all that.
