Fairy Tale Tarot Lessons

Ashtaroot

I think it was more about the Maori boy giving/sharing to his own people..

You are right, but I still feel the fairies should have had something in return for their secret. They were the givers of the fishingnet in the first place. I would have wished for another tale for the 6 of Pentacles.

Amary: I love your lesson from Bluebeard!!!

I need to look at the story for the Six of Pentacles....sounds interesting...

I've added my lesson from The Glass Mountain (Seven of Cups)

Seven of Cups: Story: The Glass Mountain
My Lesson: With determination and a sound plan one can be successful at any endeavor.

Thank you! I feel like a good mom now. :D We've been taking turns pulling a card and reading that lesson. They like to look at the pictures on the cards while I read. I figured it would be a good way to spend time with the kids and the deck at the same time. :D

I really like this idea... I think I may use it. Thanks.

New to the Study Group.

This is such a wonderful group and its so nice to see others introducing the Tarot to their kids. I have a daughter who is turning 3 this May and i have gotten this deck about a month back. We are enjoying going through it together.
I get such a fresh perspective through her eyes, and i look forward to delving deeper into the cards with you all.
Blessed Be,
Sunshine.
