"base" of questions.

I just wanted to share that i started to notice that when i shuffle and ask a certain question to my cards that the base card on the bottom of the deck ALWAYS is the card that is the question i am asking.

for instance, if i ask about love, the ace of cups or 2 of cups is always the bottom card.

if i ask about commitment, i see the 4 of wands or the 10 of pentacles.

I just started to really pay attention here and thought it was really cool how it all comes together.

next time you shuffle, see if this happens for u as well.

Yeah, the base card is one of the most important cards in my readings, and I generally read it as the underlying issue or overview-of-the-question energy in the reading. I further look at the second-to-last card of the deck (the card next to the base card) to determine the elemental compatibility of the two, as well.

Sometimes, the base card simply answers why the seeker asked for the reading in the first place...especially if s/he comes to the table "without any question" or for a general reading.
