"Mental and physical actions are developing dynamically" -Dark Grimoire Tarot LWB

I've struggled before to really grasp how to think about dynamism in this context, but I think seeing this card today, it is starting to click. Dynamic in this sense, at least for the seven in the suit of Swords, seems to indicate independently arising and perpetuating thoughts. When inspiration, ideas, and especially conclusions through analysis come together (and especially when they take on a life of their own).

This card features a man sleeping in bed (quite possibly the man featured on the Lovers card, and throughout many of the other cards, though that's debatable), while a creature (humanoid, but with a reptilian or demonic face, similar to the sea creatures Lovecraft described in "Dagon" and a couple other of his stories) creeps in through his door in the background. On the man's nightstand is a glass (likely for liquor, based on other cards), a book (almost certainly a grimoire), and a revolver.

Swords are the suit associated in this tarot deck with Demons, Air, and the intellectual center. No doubt once the demon creeps through this man's door, he will feel the impulse to make use of the implements on his nightstand (as we again see hinted at elsewhere in the deck).

The takeaway here is that while we may gain benefit from the flow of intellectual activity in our heads, we must be wary of it having a mind of its own, at least for too long. Otherwise the creative may quickly turn destructive.
