Today Terry Gross interviewed a Hebrew expert on Kabbalah on her show (Fresh Air, National Public Radio in the US). He's Arthur Green, Dean of the Hebrew College Rabbinical School. The audio version will be available online at www.npr.org, if anyone wants to listen.
Among other things he talked about was the letters that stand for God's name, that they translate to "all this is, was, will be, all at the same time."
Perhaps not news to this forum, but that was fascinating to me.
