Look! Brand new Greenie! Still sealed!

Hurray for Lillie! The quest is over. That one, anyway ;)

Lillie

No other quest springs to mind!

Maybe I'm done :)

Gregory, no.
The truth is that the evil card of wicked whiteness is afraid of you.
All three of them are hiding somewhere, in a little quaking huddle of fearful wickedness.

Oh my....... Maybe that's who stole my Alain Foll oracle..... (no I don't do oracles, but it was free with a magazine !)

Lillie

Yes, the white cards out of Thoth decks get together in gangs to abduct and beat up oracle decks.

It's what they do.

You'll get a ransom note soon.

Cool find. Congrats!

Lillie

Thanks.

I just saw a picture of a greenie on ebay.

The bottom of the box was visible, there was no bar code.
The front of the LWB was readable. It said Stamford

So the addition of the bar code happened after the move to Stamford.

gregory

ER - maybe. See dates/addresses in Cerulean's decks and my book, above. I think they just like to be RANDOM !

Lillie

Yeah, maybe.

When did USG start putting bar codes on decks?

Abrac

I'm not sure of the exact year for US Games, but bar codes in general started being used on a widespread basis c.1980. gregory's book proves that US Games was still in New York in 1986. That's the year it was published and it's a first printing so there's no other alternative. :)

gregory

Oh there is. :(

They may have used the same basis for the print page as for vol 1, and forgot to change it.

Because look at Cerulean's list..... they were publishing from Stamford in 1984... It's all insane !
