I was wondering if anyone knew what language the writing on the Ace of Swords is?

The language is Greek. The word itself is θέλημα - Thelema, meaning Will.

Just for info, there's some more Greek on the Ace of Disks: transliterates as TO MEGA THERION, the Great Beast.

Yeah i've since found it out. I'm finding studying the deck a lot easier if i'm armed with The Book of Thoth.

I resisted for years, bought the book three times before I broke down and read it. There's a great Book of Thoth study group I found in the Forum table of contents. Wish I had been here for that.
