Little Essays is listed as Class B.

Class B consists of books or essays which are the results of ordinary scholarship, enlightened and earnest.
There is no intro in my copy. But Hymenaeus Beta remarks on the back, "one of Crowley's most mature works, and since it is addressed to the intelligent sceptic, rather than the specialist, it forms a lucid introduction to the path of the wise.

By “love under will” one refers to the fact that the method in every case is love, by which is meant the uniting of opposites as above stated, such as hydrogen and chlorine, sodium and oxygen, and so on. Any reaction whatever, any phenomenon, is a phenomenon of “love,” as you will understand when I come to explain to you the meaning of the word “point-event.” But love has to be “under will” if it is to be properly directed. You must find your True Will, and make all your actions subservient to the one great purpose.

You’ll find great material in ‘Magic Without Tears’, which builds upon other writings – along with a GREAT essay called The Universe: The 0=2 Equation (which of course demands a firm grasp of The Naples Arrangement.

Oh, well, shoot, I hate everyone when I am hormonal.

I love your pragmatism. It got me thinking. I was looking for something in this little essay that I am just not going to find. Some hint at what to do, or more accurate, did I do the right thing?
Yet, if Crowley didn’t start off with Do as Thou Wilt, I might not have read another word. Very silly.
I did what I wilt. I am done second guessing myself. I realize my actions in this instance speaks more to my will and my nature than anything I can find in a book. Yeah, goodbye tired old baggage.

Enlightened for the moment, always earnest.

Thanks for the reminder Umbrae, I'll have to break out that worn out book from the storage tubs and replace it on the 'currently reading' bookshelf. It is a great Thelemite's companion.
