I started off by trimming just the white borders off but progressed to getting rid of the stone ones and the words too.
My cards are much nicer now and they don't hurt my hands to shuffle them any more.

Now you have really inspired me! I looked over those threads you linked to - and I am going to cut the borders off of all of my decks - and get a pair of craft scissors to make rounded corners. Thanks for the link, Sulis!
