Thoth has been my daily deck for about 2 years now. as an artist, I resonate with the movement contained in the artwork.
I used Arrien's Tarot Handbook for about a year and now work with the deck very freely, using intuition more oft than not. I find the simplicity of the minors to be quite powerful. I love, for instance, the 4 of pentacles. Looking at a castle from the top. that always says 'something' relevant to me. the two of swords says it all for me - chill, baby. Peace. Ah!
I also leave the 3 Magicians/Magus in the deck because I am a writer and it is interesting to have a question about writing projects or struggles and see where they show up in a spread.
The first time i 'met' the deck an artist was reading for me and I shall never forget how I was stunned as she lay each card down. The beauty sang!
