Just looking at the samples.

From what I have seen, the 'Four of Cups', 'Six of Discs' and '8 of Swords' are all RWS inspired.

'The Sun' and 'Strength' seem to lean towards the Crowley/Frida Harris 'Thoth' deck.

And ... what a great 'Chariot' and 'Lover's' card. In relation to the latter, there is a nod to the Marseille, with the third figure being left in - even if it is a little different in placement - very dark and provocative.

I am going to keep an eye out for this deck. Very inspiring.

I had this deck on my wishlist for a long time then when it finally came out, I wasn't sure about it but I do agree that its a beautifully inspiring deck but very Thoth-like for me.

Thanks Emily. I will be thinking about that when I get some cash together. It is quite Thoth like, isn't it - but seems to have, from what I have seen, other influences. I like it and think that it would not be too difficult for a beginner, if they opened themselves to the images.
