Are there any natural remedies to help boost metabolism?

Thx!

Pepper, peppermint, ginger, fennel, chilli . . .

These are based partly on dim memory, mostly on experience and intuition :D.

This for you? Or someone else?

Cayenne pepper, sprinkled on anything you like. Start with small quantities and build up or you'll burn your insides.

Another good 'un is red wine (in moderation, of course).

Exercise balances the metabolic rate.

Kelp for sure. It naturally contains iodine and is what used to be given before they had thyroid medication. In fact they used to have iodine of some variety. Anyway you can buy kelp and chew it or you can sprinkle it on food. They do have kelp capsules. I have some.

Some additional herbs/foods that help are Spirulina (similar to Kelp) and Green Tea both are good for increasing metabolism through improved thermogenesis (fat burning). Also to eat smaller meals throughout the day is good for increasing metabolism.

So very true. Doesn't have to be a ton either, they have studies that show that thinner people fidget more than heavier people throughout the day, therefore burning more calories!
