Well, I think there is a difference.
The reason for me to meet someone could be for example
- he could bring solutions to me,
-he could help me move on from a situation,
-he could bring me great friendship,
-he could be the one for me,the love of my life,etc.

And what he means to me? it could be different. he could be a great friend to me (that how how I see him ) or the love of my life,that one I've been waiting for, but the reason to meet him was only to learn a valuable lesson.

For example - my ex was someone I fell greatly in love with and took over my emotions and happiness, but the only reason to meet him was to have his baby. That was the sole purpose.

I don't know if that makes any sense to you?

also I think this could be someone I haven't even met yet,or someone I already know.

I wasn't reading "reason to meet him," that way at all, so it is clearer to me how you meant it. Right now, I'm thinking that when I do the spread, I may reword 4 and 5. Maybe, something like "the reason this person entered/is entering my life," for #4, which means what you said, but, would be clearer in my mind and for #5, "what I will gain/receive." Well, I'll see. I need to get some sleep.
