I don't use reversals.
For me personally, it doesn't make sense to "read" an upside down image. The imagery is so important. I want to interact with it, ponder over it, enjoy all the little details. Yes, you can flip a reversed card to take a closer look but it just feels wrong to me.
I use reversal "concepts" but I don't use reversed cards to get there. I believe all cards have many nuanced shades of meaning and degrees of significance. I look at spread positions, the context of the question, patterns, and themes. Tarot is a living language of symbols and each card "vibrates" along a wide spectrum of meanings and interpretations.
I don't think my way is "the right way." Every reader is different and everyone has to do what is comfortable for them.
