The official crystal identification thread

Does anyone recognize this blue stone? I think it was identified as lapis when I bought it, but it isn't "sparkly".

Possibly what is called denim lapis

It might be a C or D grade of lapis lazuli:

After looking at some google images, I think you are right. Compare these.

Spodumene?

Anyone know what this crystal is? I did the acid test, not Calcite. Thinking possibly Spodumene? Dark grey-green to yellow-green to clear in color. The larger, darker piece is actually really transparent when held up to the light. And they are all really fragile, break into length-wise slices if dropped (accidentally dropped one of the smaller pieces)
