Similar decks to the Playing Card Oracle?

Garmonbozia, will keep and eye out for interesting pinochle decks. I saw some at Barnes n Noble, but they looked pretty basic, pretty boring....

I know :( I spent hours searching online the other day, but to no avail. There are a lot of vintage decks out there that have cool backs, but I am looking for cards to use on a regular basis that are not boring.

I did find these:

Pretty cool, or at least more interesting than anything else I could find. I'll have to buy two decks next time I order something from there. I have my eye on the Black Fantasy tarot, so it might be soon!

Not sure exactly what your definition of interesting is....but this deck looks like fun....

Etsy in general has a page or two of pinochle decks, maybe something else here interests you? Vintage decks can be fun in a funky sort of way.

My little USG Playing Card Oracle deck just arrived...and I must say, it's sooo cute. And, good news, it's printed in China - so not glossy at all! Same backs as the previous USG printing, though. Kinda disappointed at that, but over all, a nice little deck. No difference besides size and lamination, from the other one.

ETA - no USG copyrite info printed anywhere on this deck

As of this afternoon (5/24) the PCO (new) deck is no longer showing on the US Games website. :(

:!: I'm so glad I jumped to order when Bhavana first posted! I received mine yesterday, and I agree, it's fantastically cute. It's the perfect size for me to want to carry and use, and they're easier for me to handle. The cardstock is very nice, too. I'm so pleased that I got it. I'm settling in now to really read the book and learn the deck.

Rhinemaiden, I'm sure the decks will be posted on their site and elsewhere sometime soon. I wonder if the website prematurely listed it to the public? Since the deck wasn't listed on Amazon yet, maybe this is what happened, and they're just waiting for the official release date (whenever that is).

I'll keep my fingers crossed!

And Bhavana, the links you posted to scans of the rest of the Inky Dinky/John Littleboy decks have me regretting that I didn't order all of them when I got the Bag of Bonesl! They're just all so whimsical! Thanks for posting. :)

Here's a handy link, just in case some people haven't seen it yet.

oh my god, I want to marry her!

Kalliope, glad you got a chance to get the new PCO deck - and yes, aren't John Littleboy's decks awesome? I love the Mermaid one the most. But I wonder why the new PCO isn't on the USG site anymore? That is strange. I noticed that there are no more links to buy the vintage PCO from the Ana Cortez site either....she had said she would stop selling it when the new USG deck came out...

I sent a message to USG to see what was up - will let you know when I hear back.

I ordered my deck yesterday, and this morning got an email from USG saying they were canceling the order and the deck is discontinued/out of stock. After a couple of emails back and forth, they wrote back saying they had one last deck in the warehouse, and they were sending it to me.

Can't believe it sold out so quickly! I'll be curious to hear if they manage to scrounge up any more decks.

Thanks! I like the backs on the Stardust and the Vintage Stardust deck, but I am looking for two decks with identical backs with which to play double-deck pinochle. As for "interesting", if I could find something with non-standard playing card images, I'd be thrilled. I just don't think it exists for pinochle decks. The pirate deck on gamecrafter is the closest thing i could find so far.
