The Lover's Path: Ten of Coins

Sophie-David

In an ingenious parallel to the Ace of Coins, the Lover's Path Ten of Coins illustrates two marble gates leading to a verdant countryside, but this time the gates have been swung open. The single coin decorating the gates of the Ace has multiplied tenfold and come to fruition. Beyond the gates, rolling hills of grassland and forest lead to a sumptuous golden topped palace where Danae and her son Perseus will live in peace, prosperity, material comfort and physical contentment. In the distance, a gold sunset gleams on the distant "mountains of aspiration", similar to those of the Ace, but this time they are physically available to Danae, no longer is she confined in a paternalistic brass tower.
