Sequencing of the Courts...

Question regarding the sequence of the Court cards. As the new cards are packaged the ascending rank is Valet, Reyne, Roy, Cavalier. This makes the Knight higher than the King. Is there a reason for this?

Hello Inconnu,
the reason corresponds to a dynamic way of seeing, not fixed.
Do not look like the Cavalier higher than the Roy, but after the Roy.
Imagine that each suit corresponds to a castle,
the Valet is at the door of this, taking his first steps on the experience,
the Reyne is located in the heart of the castle, with the look fixed in its symboll, during the experience, enjoying of the power they represent,
the Roy is already in the uppermost part of the castle, full of experience,
eyes pointing towards new horizons
and the Cavalier is located outside the castle bearing the message of energy represents to the next energy (or suit).
Giving so the notion of the circulation of energys.

I bought last year a deck of Madenié from Yves "le Marseillais"... and I am very happy to have a real authentic fac-similé of this first and referencial deck (and so joyful expression of their faces..)... A real pleasure!...
And now,
I would like to buy youre wonderful conver's deck before next summer...
But I must talk to a friend to help me to buy by paypal... and, I must take the time to choose the edition that i like ... but I think i like youre first edition... full magic and light..
..and I write this post very fast in a very bad english because i'm full excited by the beauty of youre deck...
