Druid Animal Oracle Study Group-Earth Dragon

2dogs

This dragon looks very cosy curled up in its dry cave protected from the elements and smugly regarding its hoard of treasure. It's a very static scene, the dragon doesn't look like it's planning to go anywhere soon.

This could represent stability, being settled in one's home, protection, satisfaction with what one has, but possibly also greed, addiction, clinging, hoarding, defensiveness or stagnation.

On a larger scale the entire Earth as a planet is protected by its magnetic field and atmosphere, forming a stable environment for the development of its greatest treasure, its life forms, all of which are related and share histories through the coiled molecules of their DNA. By seeing the things we have in common with even the most alien looking creatures, we can come to love them and understand their messages.

The keywords in the book are Power, Potential, Riches and it talks of learning to love an aspect of ourselves that guards our inner potential.
