What are some 'deep' oracle cards that you would recommend?

Thank you!

Thank you for sharing, EmpressArwen! It is beautiful! Is the guidebook good?

Oh yes. Alana Fairchild's guide books are extensive. Really go into great depth about each card. She has prayers/meditations for each card as well. I don't use those but it does give even more insight into the meaning behind each card. A couple other decks of hers that I've used that are also very deep are her Kuan Yin Oracle and Mother Mary Oracle. Gorgeous and very meaningful. Very clear answers too.

One other deck (sorry! I am such a deck buying enabler!) that I think gives really good, deep, spiritual type readings is Earth Magic Oracle. The guidebook isn't as extensive as the decks mentioned above but still very good. Beautiful cards too.

Thank you :) I will check out Earth Magic Oracle as I really like how the deck seems to focus on the atmospheric nature. Though I am a little unsure about a few cards like the DNA and Ancestors.

Earth Magic is great. The book explains those cards.
The other great one in that vein is the Earthbound Oracle.

I'd also suggest the Rackham Oracle if you like darker decks, too.

The DNA card speaks of Karma. It speaks of not just connection to the dna from family but of also a soul dna that brings about lessons we must learn. We must choose to evolve to reach a higher level of consciousness.

The Ancestors card speaks of the link between generations...for better or for worse. We aren't slaves to the pattern set before us by our ancestors but they do help form who we are. When this card shows up it is asking you to call upon this connection, ask those who have been before you for help. When I get this card in my own readings I often think of the saying, "those who do not understand the past are doomed to make the same mistakes" (paraphasing).

Both very interesting cards and while they don't have that atmospheric nature about them, they do have that connectedness about them. I think Earth Magic, more than any other deck I have, speaks to that connectedness...to the fiber woven between people, to nature, to animals, to past, to present and then future. All woven together into a beautiful, messy tapestry of life.

Also, this may seem strangely counter-intuitive, but when I disregard the guidebook and read DV's Goddess Guidance intuitively it becomes remarkably deep.
