Wheel of Fantastic
I like brightly coloured laminated decks. To this end I ordered a copy of the standard plaid back US Games RWS with it's saturated colours.
Knock me down with a feather, it's no longer laminated. It's on proper, good quality papery cardstock. The deck is still made in Italy and is still super bright but some one must have noticed the complaints around lamination. The print quality seems improved over recent printings as well.
I actually wanted a laminated copy! Am I now going to have to look for a 'vintage' Italy printing from the mid 2000s (that would be very silly!)?
Anyone know if recent printings of the Albano Waite are on matt cardstock as well?
