The Alaire Deck

I love your drawing style! I'll be watching out for this deck. Good luck!

Me too! I really like the sketches and your style! I will be watching this one too :)

I love all the movement in your drawings! The only one that doesn't really match the rest is The Hanged Man. He doesn't have that exaggerated curve like the others. Maybe the tree could be very curved, kind of like The Tower? The World card also doesn't have this curve, I'm noticing now. I think it'd work if you had the angel and her hair and fabric spiraling out from the globe in the middle.

My fav so far is Judgement, cos the hands look like they're giving high fives.

I look forward to seeing more from you. :)

Thank you all for the great feedback so far!

Here is a colored test for the high priestess. I've had to do a couple of different tests since my original plan didn't work out so well (the colored pencil didn't want to blend over the paint like I'd hoped it would). So this is a totally paint version and I'm pretty happy with it. I would love to hear what you all think of it! Thanks :)
I would like her face feature to be softer/more femmine?^^ :)))

Again, thank you all so much for the wonderful feedback! I really appreciate everything you guys have to say. :)

Here are two more painted pieces. I'd love to know what you guys think.

Love the painted Fool! Are those pomegranates on the Empress' cloak? Those are usually associated with the High Priestess.

Yes, those are pomegranates on her cloak. I know the pomegranate is associated with the High Priestess but I was also under the impression that it was also associated with the Empress as it is a symbol of fertility? I could be wrong, like I said I'm still learning. :)

For me it's an unusual symbol, but you have a reason for putting it there, so keep it. I'm always up for having my tarot boundaries stretched. :)
