Seems there is a paralell with my former profession of nursing. The reader has specialised and detailed knowledge that they are being paid to employ for the questioner. How much to tell? How much can the querant absorb? Do they want to be told what or do they want why and how the reader got there as well.
Easy to be the whole Mystic Seer trip. And some querants want that. One author wrote that he knew that the client would choose the right reader.
I guess its like choosing a doctor, if you don't like them you go elsewhere.
I've had professional readings that have been duds. In nursing I tried to empower people; give them the means to help themselves.
Like the Magician, when reading I try to be as true a conduit for the message as I can. But I am a servant to both the tarot and the querant.

Interesting. So you got a psychiatric question, some simple metaphysical exercises , and a reading that seemed to have no relation to the cards that came up .

I think we're supposed to say that the reader followed her intuition and that whatever she said was for your highest good . If she had told you things instead of letting you figure out whatever the reading was supposed to mean to you , she would be seen as imposing her will on you and being arrogant . Even dangerous. You are supposed to see this reading as on a higher level than all other tarot reading styles of the past . If you read tarot and you don't actually read the tarot , it's ok . Because whatever you do is ok.

However, she was paid, so that makes her a Bad Person and probably a con artist . But, since she didn't tell you anything specific , it can't be proven.

Just cleanse , everything will be ok. And remember , whatever it is, it's your own fault because you asked for it karmically .
