Elsewhere on the forum, Inspired by the AT annual poll (see here: http://www.aeclectic.net/tarot/cards/topten.shtml) mud is being slung with joyful abandon. The issues include the very IDEA of a top ten list, the criteria that ought to be applied in choosing the top ten, the fickle masses, etc. Democracy and the free market have been mentioned. Elitism and curmudgeonliness have entered the picture. It's fun.
The problem with the AT Top Ten lists is that *I* (and you, too) only get to vote for ONE deck as my favorite of the year, and ONE deck as the favorite of "all time."
How unfair that *I* do not choose the entire list.
Perhaps you feel the same way.
