Earthair Experimental Elemental Reading Method. Exercise 2

earthair

For people with the deck, today we're going to do a one card draw unlike any you've done before. It's going to be one card, made up of little cards.

Most tarot artists put an assortment of symbols within the image of each card, so you might see crowns, items, animals, colours and astrological symbols which give deeper meaning to a standard tarot card. But I bet you've done readings where the card has some element on it which you couldn't fathom, or didn't see relevant. Or maybe your reading just focused on one small detail from the image whilst ignoring the rest of the image?

What if one card could contain images from any card or element? Bespoke for you, a one off?

Shuffle the cards from the Big Pile.

Now you are going to create one big image, which is actually a 3x4 card grid of cards. You'll end up with something like this. Try it first without topping off the court cards if they appear, like this...

then when you've finished the grid, add the top of courts as a final layer from the Small pile...

Now this is where it gets interesting. Unlike a normal 1 card draw, the statistical chances of drawing any card is 1/78, but the chances of creating this composite card ever again is a LOT more unlikely.

In the next tutorial, we'll start working through the different ways to read these composite cards. For now, see what comes to you naturally!

For people that don't have my deck, try this with any borderless deck you have, but obviously you're going to have a lot more information to ponder :joke:
