I quit using the VR because I don't like the card stock. They're a little too big to comfortably shuffle, although I did it alright, but it wasn't long at all till they just felt like trying to shuffle fabric. All floppy.
The rest of my decks that I've had for 15 years and riffled all the time are still fine. I never get a bed because I shuffle with the pictures facing me a few times and then a few times with the backs facing me. They all lay flat on the table. The only time I get a little bit of bend is if the humidity is wrong. Other than that, they're all fine, including what people insist is flimsy cardstock. It's not flimsy at all.
Believe me, any cards in my house get a lot of use!
