LS Pagan Tarot-Ace of Chalices

Disa

This is a card of tranquility. The Cup sits in a serene setting. The Ocean looks calm except for the dolphins making their splashes as they leap forward into the unknown.

In the book it says that the cup is full of red wine and "there is a possibility of danger in the Chalices, just like the element of water, which this suit represents." I'm not quite sure what's meant by that. Is there a Pagan principle that I'm missing that equates to danger within the chalice? Or is it just the standard meaning that with emotions there is always the risk of heartbreak?
