Hi all! I never thought I'd make my own tarot deck but here I am. I just "finished" my 4th card and I'm pretty dang happy so far (finished as in they just need a a few final touches).
I have a deck from Printer Studio and I love their cardstock so I'm going to go with them for printing. And I'd love to be able to package it in a tin.
Brief background: a few weeks ago I started doodling my own oracle deck, using keywords from the tarot for image inspiration. Earlier this week I figured eh... I miss doing digital collage, I'm going to make some tarot inspired images. I started trying to make cards based off the oracle cards I was doodling. So I guess I'm creating a tarot deck based off an oracle deck based off tarot LOL
Sources: So far I've been trying to find as much unrestricted stock photos as possible. It's not that I don't want to pay or give credit, I just am too lazy and impatient to go asking every. single. artist. about pricing and permission. I have opened dialogue with friends about modeling for me and I will pay them. And I will be paying for some stuff along the way if it's an instant sort of process (or pay someone to do all that stuff for me). I do of course plan on credit everything that requires it.
My only complaint so far is I am absolutely lost on what to call this deck! Any ideas?
