"Gypsy" style decks

I have recently re-discovered the Piatnik Gipsy fortune telling cards - I had been read for by a woman who used them and I'd never seen the prior to then.

I have been experimenting with different methods and several other decks based on playing cards or Lenormand decks. I recall that the woman who read for me used several packs of the same cards - has anyone tried this and what method have you used?

I have been working with simple line spreads without much consistancy in the number of cards or rows and have been enjoying the learning process thus far.
