Sibilla deck help

IheartTarot

I really hope I can find the one with white borders some day, but I can't even find the ISBN for it (or a listing for it on any websites, even an empty one).

See attached. One Spanish site lists it (UY Libros) but did not have it when I tried to order it from them, just added me to their spam mailing list.

Vintage Sibilla photos

There are some lovely photos of a vintage Vera Sibilla c1925 on ebay here (the seller is photokat here).

Cerulean

I adore the Grandville version and would enjoy discussing it more

...so am posting to this thread by PaganX:

http://www.tarotforum.net/showthread.php?t=98741

Because I found this listing:

http://www.christies.com/lotFinder/lot_details.aspx?intObjectID=3914251

Anyway, would like to explore that connection of Lenormand and Grandville more in it's own thread and so have added a link to that thread here.

I may be able to find differences worth noting between the 1890 and later editions, will post there...but I am very certain more devoted fans of LeNormand decks will eclipse my general interest and casual Sunday looks with their own passionate inquries and deeper googling and delving...

I adore all the latest ways people are delving into the 'bastions of LeNormandy" - puns gently meant, with welcome and hope to hear and see more sharing and discussion. Maybe more French and German deck resources will finally be well-translated into English with and without the older references. Although the quaintness of some of the older language is very interesting for historical comparison.

Back to the sibilllas...
